Well it's the weekend after Thanksgiving, and things are beginning to settle down a little. Thanksgiving dinner with the Jackson's was great. I have always loved being a part of this family. I am grateful that I have them in my life. I haven't really talked to my family and I am missing them immensely. I wish that I was a part of their lives and was able to be involved. But they live over seas and more than six hours away. With Mark and I not working we don't do a whole lot that involves traveling. So I am grateful that the Jackson's all live here in town.
Ever since I married Mark almost eleven years ago, my relationship with my family has faltered even more than it did when I lived at home. I wish that it could be different but I also know the road goes both ways and that I cannot be the only one to blame for the relationship I share with my mother and my siblings.
My stress level has increased with not having a job and being home all the time. I truly love my girls and my husband with all my heart and soul but I have never really coped well with being needed so much. I am a selfish person and I really need ME time. Mark has slowly come to that conclusion and has allowed me a little more space and knows when it's time for mom to have some time alone.
Christmas is going to be real stretch this year. The girls are hopefully getting their 4-H horse for Christmas and then a few small things under the tree. The horse is up in the air because the people we are getting her from re-nigged on their contract with the guy they sold them to. We bought them and now they are trying to take them back.
Once again I want to let my family know how much I love and miss them and how much I wish we were all a little closer in our relationships.
Daddy and Katrina I love you both and I am truly thankful for all you have ever done for us.
Mom I miss you and hope you are well and things are still what you hoped they would be.
My siblings who choose to read this I love you all so much and miss you guys a ton. I hope one day we will all be able to get together and laugh once again.
Loves to you all!!

PROM
The Tooele High Sha-rons (THS Drill team) did a fundraiser and it was a Daddy-Daughter Prom! Sara asked her daddy to take her to prom about a week and a half ago. He told her he wouldd absolutley love too! So we went dress hunting. We found her a beautiful dress and it was my favorite color! I was truely surprised she liked it so much. I promise I didnt push her to get it cause it was my favorite color she only tried on one dress and that was the one she wanted. Easiest dress shopping I have ever done. I hope it is always that easy. LOL. Her aunt Gina braided her hair cause god knows I can't french braid. Then we put ringlets in the back and then put baby's breath in her hair. She is absolutley breathtaking. She is so gorgeous.
Her daddy was one handsome man tonight. I was totally wishing he was taking me. We got her a corsage and a matching boutinere for her daddy. Yellow roses also my favorite.
I actually went down to the prom to take pictures. My two brothers in law and their daughters were there with my nieces. All the girls are nine years old (Sara almost) and they were all just beautiful. They were so excited to go to the dance with their dads. It was awesome. The Sha-rons did an awesome job of decorating the commons area and there were actually a lot of daddy daughter couples there.
My little Zada had her feelings hurt cause she didn't get to go but I told her she will get her chance. It was just Sara's turn this time.
Anyways I hope that Sara will always remember this special night with her daddy.

Trick or Treat
HALLOWEEN was a big success. We always Trick or Treat main street here in Tooele but this year there were a lot of buisnesses that were not participating. So anyways we walked main and the kids got tons of candy and had a blast. Then we went and let the kids trick or treat up in Blake and Gina's neighborhood and then went to Mat and Mel's neighborhood. Maya decided that she didn't like the walking cause there were to many masks out there and she is terrified of the monsters, if she cant see your face it freaks her out. The girls had a blast with their cousins and going door to door. Between the three girls we probaly got 20 pounds of candy. The girls made out like bandits. But daddy is in charge and he will divy out the candy. G-Ma Karie made the traditional pumpkin sugar cookies. MMMM so good. (Thanks Karie)We slacked on the pumpkins we didnt carve them until the night before but we had a volleyball game to go to on thursday. Way to go Lady Buffs! Anyways that is about it.
